Flower Alley filly maintains her unbeaten record

Wilgerbosdrift’s exciting sire Flower Alley looks to have a smart sort on his hands in the form of two-year-old filly Flowers Vale.

The latter made it two wins from as many outings when scoring a facile 3.25 length win in an allowance plate at Mountaineer Park on Sunday to maintain her unbeaten record. (Flower Vale having scored by over seven lengths first time out).

Out of the placed Unbridled’s Song mare Cottage Vale, Flowers Vale is from the same family as promising Cape sire Coup De Grace.

She is the latest daughter of G1 Travers Stakes winner Flower Alley to catch the eye with his other notable fillies including G1 Ashland Stakes winner Lilacs And Lace, champion My Wandy’s Girl and G3 Delta Downs Princess Stakes winner Bouquet Booth.

Other notables sired by $2 million plus earner Flower Alley include champions I’ll Have Another and Lukes Alley, as well as millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner Neck ‘N Neck.

A son of champion sire Distorted Humor and from the family of champion sire Lyphard, Flower Alley’s first South African yearlings go on sale this season.
