Wilgerbosdrift’s well performed young stallion Hawwaam came up with an eye catching debut winner on Saturday.
His daughter Perfect Miracle made a big impression when she won at Turffontein on Saturday.
Trained by Tony Peter, the three-year-old, a member of her sire’s first crop, romped home to land the Robyn Klaasen Maiden Plate (F and M) (1160m). Under Chad Little, Perfect Miracle was always prominent in running, and she kicked away in the closing stages to win by six and a quarter lengths.
Bred by Klawervlei Stud, the filly races for Suzette Viljoen.
Perfect Miracle, who is out of the Tiger Ridge mare Freddy’s Sister, was a R425 000 buy from the 2024 National Yearling Sale.
Her sire Hawwaam was an exceptional racehorse and Equus Champion 3YO Colt of 2018-2019.Like current Champion Sire Vercingetorix, Hawwaam is a G1 Daily News 2000 winning son of Silvano.The champion has 15 lots on offer at the 2025 August Two Year Old Sale, including a colt (Lot 15) out of G3 Lebelo Sprint winner Anna Capri, and a half-brother (Lot 190) to G2 winner White Pearl.
