Her sire’s very first winner, Gin Fizz impressed on debut when scoring by 7.4 lengths, with subsequent efforts seeing the de Kock trained 3yo finish second in both the G3 Pretty Polly Stakes and Listed Ruffian Stakes before finishing fourth in the G2 SA Fillies Nursery.
She is one of 20 winners to have emerged from her ill-fated sire’s first crop, with the crop having also produced G2 Gagasi FM Debutante winner Montreal Mist and the stakes placed Alramz.
An Equus Champion, and a graded stakes winner in three different countries, Soft Falling Rain has a single lot on Sunday’s Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale, and two lots on this month’s CTS Ready To Run Sale.
