Hawwaam son maintains his unbeaten record

Wilgerbosdrift’s homebred champion Hawwaam looks to have another potential runner to his name in the form of Hah Lah Lah.
The latter made it two wins from two starts when winning a good race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.

Trained by Dean Kannemeyer, three-year-old Hah Lah Lah was making his first since making a winning debut back in August last year.

He duly maintained his unbeaten record when victorious in Saturday’s WSB Thanks You Class 3 (1400m).
Under Craig Zackey, the Hawwaam gelding was dropped out early on the race. Zackey brought Hah Lah Lah around runners and went on to make the running.

Hah Lah Lah kept going gallantly in the closing stages and stayed on to win by just over half a length.

Bred by Patricia Devine Investments, Hah Lah Lah races for The Vasco Syndicate.

Saturday’s winner was produced by the Captain Al mare Moonlight ‘N Roses.

He is one of 26 winners to have emerged from Hawwaam’s first crop, with this crop having also produced dual graded stakes winner Perfect Miracle and Listed TAB Hawwaam Stakes winner Diogenes.
