Buffalo Bill Cody filly maintains her unbeaten record

Wilgerbosdrift’s exciting young sire Buffalo Bill Cody has come up with another exciting prospect in the form of Rifle Queen.
The latter made it two wins from two starts when she won at Turffontein on Sunday.

Trained by Tony Peter (also the handler of Buffalo Bill Cody’s top-class sons Buffalo Storm Cody and Pistol Pete), three-year-old Rifle Queen was quickly sent to the lead in the Racing Today FM 74 Divided Handicap.
Under Louis Nhlapo, Rifle Queen kept going and she powered away close home to win decisively by nearly three and a quarter lengths.

Bred by Narrow Creek Stud, the filly had made a big impression when she won on debut by a length and a half.
Owned by the Hyperpaint Syndicate, Rifle Queen is out of the Elusive Fort mare Elusive Force.

Her sire Buffalo Bill Cody, a son of the mighty Redoute’s Choice, made a bright start to his stud career when his small first crop unleashed the graded stakes winners Buffalo Storm Cody (G1 Mercury Sprint) and Pistol Pete (G3 Betway Lebelo Sprint).

Buffalo Bill Cody has two lots on offer at this week’s August Two Year Old Sale.
